CONCEPTS

BILINGUALISM: Is the phenomenon os speaking and understanding two or more languages (Individual or in a Social entity).

ENGLISH LEVELS: According with the Common European Framework, it is to show the learning process. The subject has to reach the purposes of each level to move forward. Also it is a rubric that teachers follows to their teaching.

ACQUISITION: Cognitive process by which human beings make use of their linguistic competence trhough the Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking.

L1: The mother tongue, It is one that is known and better understood. It is also the one that acquires naturally in interaction with the environment.

L2: It is the language that does not belong to the native community of the individual. In addition, it is the language that is not part of the official languages of a country and is learned by academic means.

LINGUISTIC: Linguistics proposes and recreates laws and norms for speech in order to concentrate the use of the language, it studies its general functioning. (Structures, Grammar, and others).

SOCIOLINGUISTIC: It links the different aspects of society that influence the use of the language. Language as a system of signs in a social context.

PRAGMATIC: It is the use of language in relation to the context and the individual. It is the way in which the human being and his environment connect.

PLURALITY: Plurality is understood as the acceptance of the different qualities of people who develop in the same space. In turn, it is the variety and diversity in this case culturally that provides better interrelations with the other.
